Large size heavy solid wood pestle and mortar , Its in a pink/orange finish with grooved detail at the bottom and some delicate carved detail to the rim , I have no idea of the wood type but its a heavy piece, has some age related wear as in wear to the paint in places and a tiny airline to the wood , doesn't effect the appearance as hardly noticeable .
